This course aims at students on mid B1 level. You should be familiar with the present/past simple, present continuous, present perfect, and the passive voice.

We will learn how to describe historical events and photos, how to give a talk and make a phone call. Moreover, we talk about holiday experiences, write postcards, and get cultural information primarily about North America. We will work with a textbook (Great B1, 2nd edition) as well as authentic texts.

Grammar includes:

• past progressive
• past perfect
• question tags
• future tenses
• 1st and 2nd conditional
• a revision of tenses, present/past simple, present continuous, present perfect
